Inline Electric's Energy Efficiency Expo is an opportunity for architects, contractors, property managers, and others to stay informed about the newest energy efficient products and strategies. 

Each expo includes dozens of vendors, with their newest energy saving products on display, and important classes in which you can earn CEU credits. We hope you'll come join us!

J. R. Sikes received a Master of Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Florida, and a bachelor’s degree with emphasis in both Electrical and Mechanical engineering at the University of Georgia, Go Dawgs!!  His early professional years focused on academic R&D in electronics, sensing, and mechatronics. Working with Acuity Brands over the past two decades, J. R. focused on lighting and controls, integrated solutions, intelligent luminaires, and smart buildings.  J. R. is currently the Controls Sales Director for Acuity Brands across the Southeast for GA, FL, TN, AL, SC and NC, and when not traveling enjoys time with his wonderful family and the great outdoors.

In this introduction to Human-Centric Lighting, we will explore how we strive to optimize design aesthetics, increase productivity, and improve the health and well-being of humans in an architectural environment through thoughtful lighting design. In this class we will apply accurate terminology in describing the color and color temperature of light, Discuss the limitations of , and alternatives to, Color Rendering Index (CRI) in characterizing color rendering.

Jason Hong is a Regional Specification Sales Manager for Cooper Lighting Solutions. He has 35 years of experience in the lighting industry working in various Sales and Marketing positions. Some of these include managing “The Source” Cooper Lighting’s 35,000 sq. ft. Educational facility in Peachtree City GA and leading market development efforts for Cooper Lighting’s Energy Solutions Team. In addition to this he has worked for many years in the corporate entertainment field as audio / video engineer, as well as numerous years in the laser entertainment industry. Jason is based out of Cooper Lighting’s Lighting division headquarters in Peachtree City GA.

Rob Mack holds a BS in Industrial Distribution from Western Carolina University.  The early years of his career were spent in distribution, later transitioning to a sales role with Leviton Manufacturing. During his fifteen years at Leviton, he has held various roles, currently serving as Measurement & Verification Specialist, Southeast Region focusing on submetering solutions.  During his downtime he enjoys fly fishing and spending time with his family.

In this course we will gain an understanding of Measurement and Verification (M&V) energy management principles for a wide variety of commercial facility applications as well as an understanding of M&V in relation to energy code requirements, including IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, 2022 Title 24 and New York Local Law 88,Seattle Code for Energy Metering, and State of Washington Metering Requirements. In addition to those topics, this course will also explore M&V in relation to LEED certification. Attendees will also gain the ability to read Enterprise Energy Software Reports and identify opportunities for energy reduction and conservation.
