Inline Electric's Energy Efficiency Expo is an opportunity for architects, contractors, property managers, and others to stay informed about the newest energy efficient products and strategies.
Each expo includes dozens of vendors, with their newest energy saving products on display, and important classes in which you can earn CEU credits. We hope you'll come join us!
2022 Energy Expo Speakers:
Michelle Sipe Exaros is the National Sales Manager for Government sales at Lutron Electronics. She holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and joined Lutron in 2008. Starting her career in the Services Department, she worked with end user clients on providing post-occupancy service support through service contracts, software maintenance agreements, and customized training programs.
Since 2014 she has been working with Government clients to assist with lighting control design and energy-saving recommendations to meet the latest federal agency design requirements, as well as assist with control system cybersecurity remediation. She actively calls on all levels of the federal government with a focus on Dept of Defense, GSA, and Dept of State.
Lighting Control in the Office Space

This course will cover various areas of lighting control in an office. The course will cover how the goals of light control extend beyond energy savings, and the motivation of various parties for the use of these control means. The participants will investigate several control strategies and learn to apply them to several spaces within the building. An interesting part will be the intelligent integration of several strategies within the same space for more impressive impacts. Finally, the participants will receive an overview how spaces perform with these strategies and how to specify control strategies appropriately to make sure performance criteria are met
Acuity Brands Lighting
Rochelle Rivers brings over 19 years experience working within the lighting industry. She spent 12 years as a specification sales agent in the Orlando, FL market working with engineers, architects, and designers on commercial lighting projects. She then took a position as the Southeast Regional Manager for a solar lighting company where she worked directly with city and county governments to foster growth in the solar industry.
In 2015, she joined Acuity Brands as a Senior Specification Sales Manager for the Southeast. She gained her Lighting Certification in 2015 and works jointly with our Acuity agencies to provide the best lighting solutions, service, and education to the design community.
She holds a degree in Economics and Math from the University of Florida and currently resides in Orlando, FL.
Renovations in the Commercial Office Space: Lighting and Controls

This course will discuss critical factors to consider when renovating commercial offices, specifically when it comes to lighting and lighting controls. The course will provide a general overview of the size of un-renovated commercial office opportunity (square footage in place) and the potential impact of effective renovation on energy consumption, occupant comfort, and overall sustainability. Topics covered will include types/degrees of renovation, key concerns, and questions to be considered before beginning, and general goals and tips to deliver positive outcomes for designers, installers, owners, and occupants.
Jason Hong is a Regional Specification Sales Manager for Cooper Lighting Solutions. He has 34 years of experience in the lighting industry working in various Sales and Marketing positions. Some of these include managing “The Source” Cooper Lighting’s 35,000 sq. ft. Educational facility in Peachtree City GA and leading market development efforts for Cooper Lighting’s Energy Solutions Team. In addition to this he has worked for many years in the corporate entertainment field as audio / video engineer, as well as numerous years in the laser entertainment industry.
Jason is based out of Cooper Lighting’s Lighting division headquarters in
Peachtree City GA.
Principles of UV and its use as a germicidal

This presentation will cover the three types of ultraviolet radiation and levels of germicidal properties and capabilities. The history of the use of various lamp sources which can deliver UV will be explored as well as the risks associated with the various types.
